If something here was useful, or something here is wrong, or you just want to say hello — this is where that will go. One thing to say straight away: the contact form is not set up yet, so there is no way to send a message from this page right now.
The rest of this page explains what the form will be for, what it will ask you, and what it is not the right place for. It is worth knowing what this site is before you write: it is one person writing — a personal blog, a place to gather what is worth knowing about lupus, and a record of years of cakes. It is not a clinic, not a helpline, and not a medical practice of any kind. That shapes what it can and cannot be useful for.
A few honest things first
- This is not a place for medical questions. Nothing on this site is medical advice, and nothing sent back in reply is either. Questions about your own body, your own care, or anything a clinician has told you belong with your own doctor, who knows your situation and can actually see you.
- Please do not send medical records, test results, or detailed personal health information. A web form is not a secure or private medical channel, and there is nothing useful that can be done with those here. The form will ask for a name, an email address, and a message — nothing about your health, by design.
- If you need help right now, do not use this page. This is a small site checked by one person, not a service watching an inbox. In an urgent situation, contact your doctor or your local emergency services.
- Corrections are welcome. If a page here states something that is out of date, badly sourced, or simply wrong, the form is the right way to say so.
Coming soon. Keli is writing a short note about who is on the other end of this form.
The contact form (not live yet)
The contact form is not installed yet. Rather than show a form that quietly goes nowhere, this note stands in its place. When it is built it will ask for three things only — a name, an email address so a reply can reach you, and a message. No health questions, by design.
In the meantime
If you got here before you had a look around, the home page is the best place to start — it explains how the site is laid out and what each part of it is for.
Or go straight to the other parts of the site.
